Because this glass drinking tube includes two versatile methods for mounting the unit in the pet's habitat, it is compatible with a wider range of pet homes. The reason OASIS includes two clear suction cups (rather than one such as you will find on other mouse tubes) is so both the top and the bottom of the tube are snug and secure against the glass wall of an aquarium style habitat, preventing annoying clicking and rattling noises. The glass sipper tube fits snugly into the water tube with a black rubber stopper, and has no ball-point drinking tip. Small pets and baby pocket pets with small mouths and tongues need not move the ball in the tube with this style sipper tube. All they need to do is touch the droplet of water at the end of the tube and it drops into their mouths... drinking a healthy amount of water is easy for the pet!
